Position Description:
Key responsibilities
Review the effectiveness of the organization internal controls, processes and procedures
To conduct internal audit on various functions undertaken in the organization.
Produce a report on the internal audit of the various functions undertaken within the organization indicating the strengths and weaknesses, as well as corrective measures needed to insure that no loopholes exist.
Provide advice to the Executive Director on controls that will be needed to overcome loopholes identified.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Desired skills, knowledge and qualifications
Must be a CPA holder
He/she must be strong in Systems audit and experienced
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent, well developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Highest level of integrity, honesty and sense of responsibility.
A proven ability to work under pressure to achieve visible results
Excellent report writing skills and analytical skills
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Applications
Excellent communication skills, verbally and writing, both in English and Swahili
