It was a moment of coming out clean. A top envoy representing an influential Western country decided to come out of the closet. The guy made an appearance at a gay event organised by a leading media house and made his declaration.
He is said to have risen to make a toast and announced, ‘I am gay.’
His revelation shocked many as some seemed to gasp and choke on their drinks. He continued claiming that he was proud and did not want to live a lie.
This happened during the weekend. He is said to have later on gone to visit a tourism spot in Rift Valley with his mates.
