Dear JAMII PRESS
I am a 23 year old girl and I think
my father has infected me with HIV. My father has been defiling me for the past
three years and I have never told anyone for fear of his wrath.
It all started a few years back after
I enrolled for campus and my mum claimed that she cannot afford to pay my
hostel fee so I have to stay at home. My mother is a business woman and is
rarely home.
On one weekend while my mother was
gone my father came to my room and defiled me for a whole night. He has always
threatened to kill me if I say anything, anyway I cannot tell my mother
anything she hates me and thinks am a spoilt brat.
Every time my mother is abroad which
is after every other month my father defiles me severely and this has always
affected my performance in school.
Last week I was cleaning up my
mother’s room and I found ARV drugs. I was so shocked because this is evidence
that she is HIV positive and if so, so is my father and since he has been
defiling me without protection I may also be HIV positive.
I am so scared to go to a VCT and get
checked, if I am HIV positive I will kill myself that is for sure please help me.
