Corporate networking session is a forum that brings together the business community and other socialites in Arusha to get together and exchange ways of growing their business as well as personal growth.
The Corporate networking event is the brain child of Ms. Charity Githinji, the sales and marketing manager of Kibo Palace Hotel a leading brand in Tanzania.
The event has attracted other major brands such as,
-Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL), the largest beer manufacturer and distributor in Tanzania.

-Other local companies such as M Inc Co, Tanzania association of tour operators (TATO), East Africa business council, hotels association of Tanzania, Tandaza Tanzania ltd and Kiliative printers.
The event is held every last Thursday of each month from 06:30p.m to 09:00p.m and aims to achieve the following:
-Enlighten attendees on business operations
-Boost confidence in professionals to aim higher, achieve their goals and grow as leaders by bringing motivation speakers.
-Create programs that enable individuals and companies work closely with communities in the areas of education through the provision of sanitary towels to girls from poor communities and environmental programs.
The event started in the year 2010 and so far 14 events have taken place. From a meeting that brought together 20 guests initially the numbers have now shot up and now average at 150-200 people each month. There are plans to have similar events in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Nairobi.
The event has a fun aspect with raffles, quizzes and loads of entertainment by a live band enabling guests de-stress.
Some of the milestone that we are proud to have achieved through this forum includes,
-Sanitary Towel Project where corporate and individuals have supplied sanitary towels and panties to 200 girls for a whole year.
Kibo Palace Hotel a fully Tanzanian owned hotel is a great venue for the event and has a set pace on how innovative partnerships can extend across borders.
-Through DSW, teens have been educated on sexual diseases, sanitation, HIV/AIDS and sexual harassment.
-Enabled traders offered a platform where business have transacted to the tune of US$500,000 in less than a year.
-Sponsored an orphaned girl to school.
Ms Githinji reiterate that this event started as  a simple forum and is now an event that enables organization strike multi million dollars deals whilst enjoying light moments and she is committed to further growing the event.
