One person has died following an explosion near Moi Air Base in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area.
Nairobi police boss Anthony Kibuchi said initial reports point to a suspected case of suicide bombing.
"The man suspected to have been in possession of an explosive device has been completely dismembered by the blast," he said on the phone.
"Those who were in the vicinity have been seriously injured."
Mr Kibuchi said he was headed to the scene
