Position Description:
WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) - the international conservation organization - is seeking competent and motivated Programme Accountants for its office in Tanzania, to be based in Dar es Salaam and in its Field Offices.

Main tasks:

To provide overall financial management to the TCO Finance office; Provide hands on support to the Head of Finance on all financial and operational issues, to ensure effective management of the TCO Programs and projects.; Oversee implementation of donor and WWF's operational policies, procedures standards and systems including budget management, financial reporting, audits. To support and coordinate development of program's operational, strategic and business plans and ensures effective implementation of the same; Manage incoming and outgoing program contracts. Perform other functions as may be directed by the Financial Analyst and TCO Head of Finance.

Requirements:

The successful candidates should have a university degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or related field; Full accounting qualification i.e. CPA, ACCA or equivalent will be an added advantage; Three to five years of working with financial/accounting systems experience in a major international organization/NGO; Good knowledge of fund accounting (including reporting requirements of major Bi-lateral Aid Agencies i.e. USAID accounting); Hands-on knowledge of the major ERP software would be a distinct advantage; fluent in English and Kiswahili; available to travel in the country and outside.

Position Description:
WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) TCO - the international conservation organization - is seeking a competent and motivated Project Executant, for Community Based Natural Resources Management project, based in Mpanda Katavi Region.
Main tasks:
To provide logistical, technical and managerial support to the implementation of CBNRM activities in Mpanda. Preparation of annual work plans, budgets and carry out implementation of planned activities to facilitate the establishment and functioning of Wildlife Management Areas (WMA's) in Mpanda. Assist the Program Coordinator in administration issues of the staff , funds and equipment and overall supervision of day -to- day programme activities at the Mpanda office; Work with Local government partners, NGOs, and local communities to establish WMAs in Mpanda District according to work plan; Facilitate sensitization programmes, organize training workshops for capacity building and facilitate preparation of land use plans and resource zone management plans for the proposed WMAs in Mpanda;
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master's Degree in Wildlife and/or Natural Resources Management or Policy Analysis from a recognized University; competence in project management with at least 5 years working experience in similar position.; fluent in English and Kiswahili
